Directors

Dr Whittaker

Medical Director Dr Tim Whittaker qualified at Liverpool Medical School in 1981. He spent five years working in St Helens & Whiston hospitals before becoming a GP in St Helens in 1986. Tim has now left General Practice to undertake the role of Medical Director at St Helens Rota, having been involved with out of hours services since 1989. He is passionate about delivering excellent out of hours care to patients and enjoys organising weekly learning groups for local GPs and medical students. In his spare time Tim loves to play golf, travelling and gardening.

Steve Holbrook

Director of Operations Steve is a Chartered Management Accountant by profession. He held senior finance positions in the Ministry of Defence and the Defence Industry before joining the Health Service in 1990. Since then he has had experience in Finance and General Management in the Acute sector, Community sector and Commissioning. He has worked with St Helens Rota for the last 4 years.
